I have fond memories of seeing you guys in Cupertino, Calif. In particular we went to the Jazz Cafe in Cupertino, Calif. to have dinner and see Free Flight. During dinner you guys showed up on your way to Sacramento and sat in with Free Flight, and it was wonderfull. I would be delighted to know about any appearances you guys have planned in the future on the west coast so that I can introduce you guys to my entire family.
thanks much, Glen Gray |

I just looked at my library and I have the entire 15 CD's of Fattburger Music. Some of the Early CD's have different artwork than the CD's shown on this site. My CD's have the original artwork. These guys are just great. One of my favorites.

I love your music.
The song "Make That Dream Come True" has to be one of my all-time favorite songs, ever. It is such a "pick-me-up" type song. Any chance to ever publish the lyrics to that song? Just would like to know as I have trouble understanding all of the words of the song, but I LOVE the song! Thanks! |

Your music is simply in a word - AWESOME - especially the Santana renditions. Hope to see you in concert someday - it would be a real treat!

Had not heard your music until I discovered Fattburger on PANDORA Internet Radio. Just got your 'Greatest Hits' from Amazon.com and am presently enjoying your work. Lived in Coronado for many years and missed out on San Diego's smoothest music ever... better late than never! Thanks for your talented performances.

Greetings:
Well I just left a very long message on your site, but I still have some praise left in me. I had the honor of being at a San Diego concert many, many years ago. It was like a resounding revelation, I had finally found the genre I had no name for but I knew that this was real "Soul Music" from the Soul and for the Soul. I have enjoyed you guys immensely for over twenty years now but something is still missing. We long for a band called FATTBURGER to perform in Sacramento, CA. We have S. J. concerts here every month of the year and you guys would top the charts. The Raddison would no longer be a viable location as the house would be overflowing. You have to come up here sometime before I get too old to travel to my second favorite city in CA, San Diego my second home. Keep up the fantastic work your masters at what you do and so creative it astounds me..... Thank you for all the wonderful music memories, Sil |

..... I just discovered The Fattburger band, Man what I had been missing living in AZ.all through the 1990's ,Listening to 95.5 KYOT radio, out of Phoenix AZ. Smooth Jazz.
The cut "Do that again " Has a Mexican, Southwestern, Californian sound to it. Every musician is professional. I had no idea these guys have been around so long.... being a guitarist myself (as a hobby), I can appreciate good music. Keep up the good work. Give a holler when you play in NYC. |

Past artist include Rick Braun, Jonathan Bulter, Richard Elliot, Jeff Lorber, Gerald Albright, Peter White, Jeff Golub, Jessie J, and others. Please contact Eric and perform in our great state. We will show lots of love, and southern hospitality...

The show was good last night. In some ways the music was not my fave - kind of "smooth-jazz" -like and I'm not a huge fan of that genre. However, the band, Fattburger, seemed incredibly happy to be playing together. They were smiling and nodding to one another like there was
a kind of shared secret being passed from band mate to band mate. There was a new keyboard player and though the set started off in a sort of tentative way, it was apparent that the band was glad to be back performing. The man on keys started the set playing in a somewhat subdued manner, and as the set progressed , the other members of the band became more animated, smiling more frequently in the direction of their new man on the keyboards. After a few songs the guitarist spoke to the crowd explaining that this was their first time playing together for about a year and half. More than just a reunion though, the reason for the break was that their keyboardist - "a great player and an even better friend" had died 18 months previous. Suddenly the type of music mattered less than the feelings expressed between these five guys onstage. The last few songs were all written by the former keyboard player, Carl Evans, and were accompanied by pictures of him displayed on the huge video screen behind the band. There were shots of Carl playing onstage, hanging with friends, walking and talking with the rest of the band. It was clear that Carl and they had shared something special and it was all very moving. And it was clear too that the new man on keys was being joyously welcomed into the fold and these artists were whole again. Carl's music lives on and will be brought to life and celebrated for many years to come. Art. There's not a lot of "legacies" that are left as living memories that can breathe life onto a stage and into a room like the art of music. Thanks Carl. What a great night to witness. I'm not much of a fan of smooth jazz, but I am a huge fan of Fattburger. |

Man I am so happy for your guys continuing on with your journey as Fattbuger. I've been following you guys since the mid 1980's when Carl introduce me to all of you guys. Unfortunately my mother passed away a week before Carl and this hit me very hard because a mother and a big brother are no longer here. Well let me know when the band is coming to the east and I'll be there to support you guys.
